Founded in Los Angeles by Christian Tyler, Cobalt Studio is rooted in a design philosophy that values curation, character, and craftsmanship. Raised in the Rocky Mountains, Christian grew up surrounded by the raw beauty of nature and the art of building—flipping houses with his family across Vail, Boulder, and Denver. That early exposure shaped his perspective: great design should feel effortless, lived-in, and deeply connected to its surroundings.

Christian studied interior design in New York City, working under top designers and at 1stDibs, where he honed his expertise in rare and collectible design. Those experiences shaped his approach—intentional, tailored, and grounded in quality.

From sun-drenched coastal homes to intimate, atmospheric hotels and restaurants, every project is designed with longevity in mind—layered textures, rich materials, and a refined yet relaxed sensibility.
