Cobalt Studio was founded in Los Angeles in early 2025 by Christian Tyler, a designer who moves between discipline and ease.

Cobalt approaches design as a reflection of character — interiors that feel inevitable, calm, and enduring. Every space is considered, honest in its form, and made to last.

Christian’s perspective was shaped early in Colorado, where he grew up building homes in the Rockies. He later studied sustainable interior design in New York City and refined his eye within the city’s design world, including time at 1stDibs, where his understanding of provenance and narrative deepened.

Today, Cobalt Studio leads projects across Los Angeles, st. Augustine, vail, and sag harbor — crafting environments that live at the intersection of craftsmanship, atmosphere, and identity. The studio currently stands as an emerging voice — young, instinctive, and quietly disruptive within the LA and NY design communities.

With projects soon to be published and new ventures underway, Cobalt continues to expand its reach, guided by Christian’s pursuit of depth, clarity, and soul.
